An incubator to cultivate the sulfur-oxidizing
bacteria optimally for the operation of S-TOMS
An incubator to optimally cultivate sulfur-oxidizing bacteria for the operation of S-TOMS
Cabinet type incubator with a frontal view window. It has a temperature control system, a sulfur-oxidizing bacteria incubation tank made of glass, a water/air sample supply line, and an electric conductivity sensor in the incubator
The bacteria on the surface of sulfur particles grow to use the sulfur as a substrate. Since they produce and discharge sulfate ions as metabolites, the electrical conductivity in the incubator tank increases
It measures the activity of bacteria through the change of electrical conductivity measured by the electrical conductivity sensor
